World Cancer Day’s
Fabulous Flag-Flying Foursome

To celebrate World Cancer Day, and because February 4th 2020 just happened to be the 156th birthday of legendary golfer and course architect Willie Park Jr, Nick Edmund played the 4th hole and raised the Global Golf 4 Cancer awareness flag at 4 of Park Jr’s greatest creations: Sunningdale (Old Course), Huntercombe, Notts (Hollinwell) and Silloth on Solway – from classic heathland to classic links. A month later the 4-Flag was flying again at Sunningdale as the club staged the 86th edition of its famous Sunningdale Foursomes tournament. A big thank you to four of England’s finest golf clubs!
